This is a full season coaching program, designed to be used before, during and after your times on the slopes. 

The tutorials, the roadmap, the drills, the checklist challenges and the community group are all available whenever your need them.

You can study before a ski trip, review after a day on snow or work through the lessons on a quiet evening at home. If you have mobile data, you could even watch the videos from a chairlift (but don't forget to enjoy the view!)

Most students find that just 1 hour of preparation before a ski trip makes a significant difference to what they achieve on snow.

Find your level on the roadmap, watch the relevant tutorial, select the appropriate drill and then have exercises and challenges to complete next time you're on the snow. 

Repeat the process as you progress through the roadmap. 

The key thing to keep in mind: your goal for the season is to film yourself completing the Intermediate and Advanced Skier's Challenge Criteria (your graduation exam!)

The sooner you start filming and the more frequently you get out on the slopes, the faster you'll progress, the more feedback you can get in the community.

The graduation exam is designed to be completed before the end of your ski season, whether that's one week on snow or ten.

So the short answer: the more you ski and the more you engage with the programme, the more you get out of it.

This course is for level 1-4 skiers who wish to become level 5 or 6. 

If you are a complete beginner, or you'd like to refresh the basics, I would advise completing the shorter 'beginner to intermediate' online course first in order to best build the foundations for this coaching programme.

Beneath each video lesson there is a comments section where you can ask questions directly to me - about the content, the drills, the concepts, technique clarifications etc. I'm happy to connect and read and respond to these throughout the season. It's a great way for you to get specific guidance and access to a level 4 ski instructor without the price tag of a private lesson. 

What I can't offer as standard is individual personal video analysis. I spend long days on snow 6 days a week throughout winter so I can't promise something I would struggle to deliver to a high standard for everyone. 

However, you're encouraged to share your videos with fellow students in the community group. I dip in regularly and will offer tips, feedback and recommended drills when I can.

I put a lot of sample tutorials on YouTube which you can watch for free. But there's a fundamental difference between watching individual tutorials and following an ordered coaching programme, and it comes down structure.

On YouTube you might watch a video on carving, then one on short turns, then one on posture - in whatever order the algorithm serves them up. Each video might be valuable on its own, but without a clear progression it's easy to work on the wrong things at the wrong time. And doing the wrong drill at the wrong stage of your development can actually reinforce bad habits rather than fix them.

This programme gives you everything in the right order, with a clear framework that tells you exactly where you are and what to work on next. It also gives you things YouTube simply can't:

Watching instructional ski tutorials and arriving on the slopes with insight and a pre-thought out plan is a far more effective approach than just doing the skiing part on its own. 

This course has been written, filmed, edited and built by myself, George Treble - BASI level 4 ski instructor with 15 years instructing experience in the Alps, New Zealand and Japan. 

I have been perfecting the art of teaching humans how to improve their skiing through clear, simple and organised instruction and now I am condensing all that insight into my tutorial videos and online coaching products. 

I have a unique teaching style which I invite you to sample on my many freely available videos on Youtube and Instagram.

Participant Liability Waiver

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Online Course in Intermediate Skiing (hereafter, ‘the course’) by Alpine Tutorials Ltd., I hereby confirm my understanding and acceptance of the following legally binding terms and conditions:

• Assumption of Risk:

I am aware that participation in snow sports, including but not limited to skiing and snowboarding, involves inherent risks and dangers. These risks may include, but are not limited to, the potential for accidents, injuries, avalanches, and even death. I understand that the Course aims to provide educational materials and enhance my awareness of snow sport safety, but it cannot eliminate these risks. I understand and accept that the information contained in the Course is provided for information and education purposes only. I accept full responsibility for the use I make of the Course. I acknowledge that certain pre-existing health conditions may increase the risks associated with snow sports. It is my responsibility to assess my fitness for these activities.

• Release and Waiver of Liability:

I hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Alpine Tutorials Ltd., its instructors, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, subsidiaries, and any other parties associated with the Company (collectively referred to as "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Course and/or my participation in any snow sports or off-piste activities.

• Limitation of Liability

References to liability in this clause include every kind of liability arising under or in connection with the Course, including, but not limited to, liability in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise.

The total liability of Alpine Tutorials Ltd to you shall be limited to the amount paid for the Course under this agreement (to the fullest extent permitted by law).

Nothing in this Participant Liability Waiver limits any liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.

• Indemnification:

I hereby agree to INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS the Released Parties from any and all liabilities, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, expenses  or other costs (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal costs (calculated on a full indemnity basis) and all other reasonable professional costs and expenses), that may arise out of or in connection with the Course and/or my participation in any snow sports or off-piste activities, regardless of whether such claims are brought by me, my family members, or any other third party.

• Understanding of Risks:

I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions (including this Participant Liability Waiver), which include the assumption of risk, waiver of liability, and indemnification provisions. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily agreeing to this Participant Liability Waiver and that it is a condition of my enrollment in the Course.

• Voluntary Participation:

My participation in the Course is voluntary, and I acknowledge that I have not been coerced or pressured into participating against my will.

Successors

This agreement shall be binding on, and enure to the benefit of, the parties to this agreement and their respective personal representatives, successors and permitted assigns, and references to any party shall include that party's personal representatives, successors and permitted assigns.

• Governing Law:

This Participant Liability Waiver and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this Participant Liability Waiver or its subject matter or formation.

By enrolling in the Course, I confirm that I have read and understood this Participant Liability Waiver and that I am voluntarily agreeing to its terms and conditions. I agree that my participation in the Course is at my own risk, and I assume full responsibility for any consequences that may arise out of or in connection with the Course and/or from my participation in snow sports or off-piste activities.
