SKI FILMER & VIDEO EDITING APPRENTICESHIP - MORZINE

Winter 2025/26

approx. 10hrs per week

Hi Skiers, George Treble here, I am looking for an apprentice ski filmer & video editor based in Morzine during the winter season 2025/2026. The work is typically half ski filming and half video editing. I need help filming skiing & instructor tutorials and managing the footage. Your skiing level is the most important pre-requisite, but I also need someone with filming and video editing skills (premiere pro) to help me manage the footage. YOU MUST BE:

  • Based in Morzine or surrounding area
  • Auto entrepreneur, legally registered to work in France, and have your activities set up to be able to invoice for ski filming / video editing work. I cannot offer a work contract - you need to be self employed. 
  • Expert skier – Could you ski the Swiss Wall whilst filming pole cam at the same time?
  • Have a digital skillset – good with Premiere Pro, cameras, photography
  • Insured for on & off-piste snowsports, with & without a guide

YOU GET 

  • Approximately 10hrs per week @ 30 euros per hour for a limited period - December to April
  • Ski mentorship programme with George Treble - BASI level 4 - technical ski tuition, guiding, avalanche training and digital entrepreneurship.

YOU NEED

  • Portes du Soleil season pass
  • Ski equipment (preferably with ski touring equipment)
  • Your own Laptop - preferably Windows PC, preferably with premere pro

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Very strong skier, confident in moguls and difficult off piste terrain. With ski touring equipment and experience. 
  • Talented photographer / filmer with Adobe Premiere pro video editing experience
  • Flexible to work various days of the week, decided nearer the time
  • Financially stable - have other work or sufficient savings. I can't promise you work if I get injured, for example.
