2 day course for skiers and snowboarders made up of online pre-learning (6-8 hours) Followed by a full day on-snow rescue training.

This two-day course for skiers and snowboarders combines the 1-day online course in avalanche theory followed by a practical, on-snow avalanche rescue training session.

Instructor: George Treble

The on-snow session is designed to mirror the key learning outcomes of the AIARE Avalanche Rescue course (although this course is not yet certified by AIARE) and is ideal as both an introduction and a seasonal refresher.

7. Practical skills, honed in rescue scenario exercices
