Whilst I did have a go at skiing as a kid, I didn't really get into it until after university. I moved to the Alps aged 22 and fell in love with it. I learned gradually as I progressed through the instructor qualifications. I experienced the frustrations and difficulties and made many of the common mistakes. But with the help of others, I kept improving. I did back to back seasons, working as an instructor in New Zealand, Japan & the Alps. I now have more than 10,000 hours ski instructing experience, teaching people of all ages, abilities, shapes and sizes. It became increasingly clear to me what people need to know about skiing to get the most out of their holiday.
